...Jubilee & Oyster!
...schenken Sie ihrer Lünette eine neues Leben!
Our watches are beautiful and, above all, useful tools that we want to use every day at work and of course during our leisure activities. Especially with watches in the high 4- or 5-digit price segment, you should therefore take a closer look at the part that gives your watch the necessary support - the strap.
Movement and friction
After years of use, your belt will wear out due to constant movement and friction. This causes the tape to expand, creating an unsightly "stretch". This so-called "stretch" is primarily caused by the wear and tear of the ribbon pins.
If you do not replace these ribbon pins early on, the following will happen:
The belt is becoming more and more flexible, over time the individual links also wear out and unsightly notches appear. The pins wear out so much that they can break at some point. In the worst case, this can lead to your watch falling on the hard floor or even being lost.
Outer contour tape
Your tape is still in perfect order and could be completely restored (technically and optically) if it was repaired soon.
Your tape already has some stretch. Replacing the pens would bring your band back to approx. 90-95% of its new condition. A slight wear of the individual links has already set in.
Your band has noticeable stretch, the links are already showing signs of wear (notches). The band can be restored up to a maximum of 90% due to the wear and tear of the individual links.
The tape has already reached a critical state.
Reconditioning would only bring you security, the stretch would still be clearly visible after the repair.
Replacing the tape would be useful.
